Gallatin Sunset - Alla Prima

I did this alla prima painting a few weeks ago but I'm just now getting a chance to post it. I captured a really nice photo last year of the setting sun casting its glow on this historic farm house near Bozeman. I always thought it would make a nice painting. I don't do landscapes like this very often but I was looking to paint something different than the norm.
